Sacred Way Healing Retreat
Healing our Community -
One Life at a Time
MISSION
STATEMENT
The vision of Sacred Way Healing Retreat is something
new, something seemingly impossible from our current view. It is a tranquil
sanctuary, a refuge from the busyness of everyday life. The atmosphere is
unclouded, clear and harmonious. It speaks of stillness grace and peace. This
then creates a sacred space which in turn encourages balance and healing. Through
the healing modalities offered at the retreat one can, just like the Phoenix,
transform and transcend the old in order to make room for the new. Sacred Way
is also a gathering place; a dwelling
where people feel connected and in these experiences create lasting memories. The
retreat lends itself to the artist and provides a creative venue where music,
movement and visual arts can be explored. It also supports the community by
bridging people to resources. It is a community link to various support
services, and practitioners of alternative medicine.
PRINCIPLES OF SACRED WAY HEALING RETREAT
INTEGRITY
"The earth does not belong to us, we belong to the earth." True integrity is based on the realization, that we are subject to the very nature of universal laws, from the physical laws of the planet on which we live, to the essential principles, which govern our universe. Dis-ease is understood as a loss of integrity due to separation of the individual from the true notion of self. Healing brings back integrity once lost and promotes growth toward becoming higher beings.HONOR AND RESPECT
Every client is another opportunity for the healer to
understand more about the course of life. Where client and healer find each
other to help the healing process. This is a "sacred contract", which
in itself needs to be honored and respected. A teacher is a student at the same
time. Only as deep as he/she has gone into his or her own depth, can a healer
be able to "walk" with a client.
INDIVIDUALITY
Every human is a unique universe. So every healing
experience is hence completely individualized and no session is like another by
the very nature of the work.
